What is a Heart-Centered Clinician?
  • A courageous individual who is interested in exploring the unconventional art & science of behavior change, not only with their clients, but within themselves.
  • A creative individual who thrives in a collaborative team that works to foster a new era of change within the field of behavior analysis.
  • A fun, intuitive individual with the exceptional ability to empathically communicate to build relationships and eagerness to learn new ways to seek the highest potential for themselves and
    others.
  • A steward of unconditional love and acceptance in the service of humanity.

If this describes you—then apply immediately to Bridging Worlds Behavioral Services! If you are this kind of person we need you to make the necessary changes in our company and our world.

We use the evidence-based tools and practices of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in a radically different and heart-centered way that draws on empathy and unconditional love.

With these tools and this empathic love, we can enter the world of our Autistic clients whatever their disability may be.

People often live in a world apart, isolated from the rest of society. We envision our clients developing their fullest potential and connecting to bridge the divide between themselves and others.

Our mission is to bridge these worlds with extraordinarily deep communication skills, empathy, relationship-building, and heart-centered ABA. We foster a learning community of professionals who can empathically and supportively reach our clients and their families in a profound way that helps them make changes that serve the clients’ greatest potential.

We work with adult, teen, and child clients and their families in their homes, helping to support them with whatever behavior challenges they may face (physical aggression, property destruction, elopement, tantrums) or skills deficits they may have (communication skills, self-regulation skills, social skills, etc.). When we fuse intuition with the evidence-based practice of ABA, real magic and deep change can happen.

Pay is commensurate with experience. If you are inexperienced but have well-developed rapport and related skills, we will train you in Applied Behavior Analysis. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity to develop your personal growth, self-responsibility, and professional skills in ABA, clinical skills, administrative excellence, collaboration, leadership and supervision skills, parent coaching, and case management. Our company culture promotes the values of learning, acceptance, communication, and integrity.

We offer a competitive package of benefits including self-care reimbursement, full medical coverage, and a 401(k) plan after one year of employment.

“It’s an honor to be fiercely evolving and step into unknown territory in my growth. It’s nice to share our different perspectives of the same path, knowing we all have each other’s backs. I wouldn’t be where I am now and set up to go where I’m going if it wasn’t for Bridging Worlds. It’s the perfect environment for all of this refinement and growth to happen.”
– Alex Kefalas, Behavioral Consultant

If the client is nonverbal we might work on expanding their communication skills to include gestures or pictures.

If the client is overstimulated in the grocery store, goals might include short trips to the store with ways to self-regulate.
